Troubleshooting Guide for BLACK X xPad+
If something does not work as expected during setup or daily use of your BLACK X xPad+, review the points below. These checks relate to key steps from the installation process.

Activation Issues
Device does not turn on
Possible cause
The batteries may not be installed correctly or are not making proper contact.
Solution
Open the battery compartment and check the battery orientation.
Ensure all batteries are inserted according to the polarity markings.
Make sure the batteries are fully seated and the contacts are clean.
Close the battery cover securely and confirm the device responds.
App & Pairing Issues
Device does not appear during pairing
Possible cause
The device may not be in pairing mode.
Solution
Open the BLACK X app and start the pairing process.
Use the Allen key to press the pairing button inside the device.
Wait a few seconds for the device to appear, then select it from the list.
Access Issues
Fingerprint is not recognized
Possible cause
The sensor or finger may not be clean, affecting the scan.
Solution
Ensure the fingerprint sensor is clean and free from dust, moisture, or residue.
Make sure fingers are clean and dry before scanning.
Note: Residue such as hand cream may leave marks on the sensor and affect fingerprint recognition.
Account & Access Setup
Passcode email was not received
Possible cause
The email may have been filtered or delayed.
Solution
Check your spam or junk folder.
Wait a few minutes and try again if needed.
